Reviews for the Oppo Find X2 Lite
The Find X2 Lite, like its Find X2 Neo sibling model, is powered by a Snapdragon 765G, but at a current price of 440 Euros (~$495), it is clearly cheaper. The Lite variant's otherwise watered-down interior is also visible on the outside, since Oppo uses a lot of plastic instead of glass in the Find X2 Lite.

Nevertheless, there are no major faults to report and the device is otherwise on par with the most alluring mid-tier smartphones, with a strong design and impressive performance levels, while its weakest areas offer no major cause for concern. These aspects would include its battery life and certain qualities of its display.

The Oppo Find X2 Lite seems like a 5G phone for people who don’t need top-end features – it doesn’t have the top chipset, a premium-feeling design or the best camera array we’ve seen, but its low price, easy-to-use operating system and great hand-feel make it a worthy purchase. If you’re looking for a cheap 5G phone it’s one worth considering.

The Oppo Find X2 Lite is a well balanced mid-range phone. It offers good features across nearly all the key areas, with its solid processor enabling excellent performance and great battery life.

The Oppo Find X2 is a solid option in a £400 smartphone class that suddenly became a whole lot tougher with the arrival of the iPhone SE, OnePlus Nord and Moto G 5G Plus. While the Lite can’t beat Apple’s affordable hotshot in terms of performance or software experience (ColorOS isn’t the optimal take on Android 10), it does pack a larger, sharper OLED display and 5G connectivity. It’s just those cheaper Android alternatives that make this a harder sell.

It’s a tad conventional for my tastes but if you’re looking for an affordable phone that feels a cut above the rest of the Android crowd, the Oppo Find X2 Lite is an easy option worth considering.

An affordable 5G phone that makes sensible sacrifices to undercut the competition. If you don't mind the somewhat heavy-handed software, the Find X2 Lite ticks a lot of boxes at this end of the price spectrum.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.82.01%: This rating is slightly above average, there are somewhat more devices with worse ratings. However, clear purchase recommendations look different.
