Reviews for the Motorola Moto G9

The Moto G9 has been launched at Rs. 11,499 which is a competitive price for what it offers. Motorola has got the software experience right with the Moto G9, and I wasn't bothered by spammy notifications on this device. The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC provides decent enough performance to keep the average user happy, but it could leave power users wanting for more. I would have preferred a full-HD+ resolution display, but very few new smartphones now offer this at such a low price, with the Redmi Note 9 (Review) being one such exception. If you are looking for better performance on a budget, you could consider spending a little more and going for the Realme 6i (Review) instead.

The Moto G9 runs Android 10 and has the July Android security patch. I like the UI on the Moto G9 as it is very close to stock Android. There are no preinstalled apps, but Motorola has added features such as Moto Actions which are quite handy. Gesture-based navigation is enabled by default but you can go back to the traditional three button layout if you aren't comfortable. Overall, the software is clean and should appeal to people who don't want preinstalled apps on their phones.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 665) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. The performance of the GPU is between the Adreno 510 and 512/612 and therefore in the lower mid range. Supports DirectX11_1, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

6.50":
Only a few smartphones have larger screens.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
0.2 kg:
Only few smartphones are more lightweight than this.
Motorola: The original company Motorola Inc was split in 2011. Motorola Mobility got the smartphone range and was taken over by Google in 2012 and by Lenovo in 2014. The Motorola smartphone brand continues for the time being. There are still a lot of reviews on Motorola Mobiles with average ratings.
80%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
