Reviews for the Realme 12 4G

The realme 12 has everything it needs to compete with other models on the market. Let’s not forget that the smartphone is reasonably priced, so some compromises were made—such as the sound quality not being the best and the additional camera modules not being particularly useful. However, the drawbacks are far outweighed by the positives: we have a main camera with OIS, a unique design, a smooth and intuitive interface, appealing aesthetics and ergonomics, a 3.5mm headphone jack, long battery life, fast charging, and, most importantly, a fantastic AMOLED display with wide viewing angles, vibrant colors, and good contrast. What more could you wish for?

Despite only having 4G connectivity and being Php 1k less than the realme 12 5G, the realme 12 4G offers the better package overall especially if you prioritize overall camera performance and an AMOLED display. It may face tough competition, but the realme 12 4G has one of the best camera performance in its price segment.

Qualcomm Adreno 610: Integrated (in the Snapdragon 665) graphics card based on the Adreno 600 architecture. The performance of the GPU is between the Adreno 510 and 512/612 and therefore in the lower mid range. Supports DirectX11_1, Vulkan 1.0, OpenCL 2.0, OpenGL ES 3.2.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

SD 685: Fast mid-range ARM SoC with 8 CPU Kryo 265 cores (four fast 2.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A73 based cores in a cluster and four power saving ARM Cortex-A53 based cores at 1.9 GHz) and a rather slow Adreno 610 GPU. Manufactured in 6 nm and according to Qualcomm around 15% more CPU performance and 10% more GPU performance compared to the old SD680 (thanks to higher clock speeds).» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.81%: This rating is slightly above average, there are somewhat more devices with worse ratings. However, clear purchase recommendations look different.
