Reviews for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2

75% Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Review: An Extravagant Success
Source: The Verge English
And yet, with all of those things stacked against it, I still think the Z Fold 2 is pretty great. I’d never recommend that anybody buy one, given the price. But unlike the first Fold, when I say the Z Fold 2 is an extravagant luxury most people shouldn’t even consider, I also have to admit that big screen is genuinely luxurious.

80% Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 review: A truly amazing foldable phone
Source: Tom's Guide English
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the quintessential example of a company listening to its customers and delivering a wide range of improvements they asked for. At $2,000, this is a phone that's still very much for early adopters, but the Z Fold 2 seems a lot less like a prototype and more like a viable product.

80% Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2
Source: PC Mag English
I see a lot of phones, and many are similar. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 is not. I'm skeptical of super-expensive phones nowadays, but this one delivers the goods: a genuinely new use case and form factor, with impeccable flagship performance and a few quirks, but no bugs.

80% Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 Review: The Best Folding Smartphone Yet
Source: Best Products English
The Z Fold2 is a luxury good in the same vein as an expensive designer handbag, pair of shoes, a watch, or a luxury vehicle. It’s a status symbol that’ll set you apart from others. The device is made of premium materials and it offers users new, more advanced features that other products don’t have yet.

88% Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G review: the cool Communicator
Source: Phone Arena English
Does Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 2 finally keep the foldable phones' biggest promise of an everyday display and a larger one when you need it all in one pocketable device? If it did, that would make the Z Fold 2 the current best foldable phone given its display and hardware specs.

First look: The Galaxy Z Fold 2 looks better, and more expensive, than it has any right to be
Source: Good Gear Guide English
The foldable future of phones has taken a few different forms from several manufacturers, Samsung included, but Samsung’s marketing might will probably mean this version will prevail. It’s a phone and a tablet in one, which is still amazing. But foldables are still in their infancy, and the price matches the Z Fold 2’s lofty ambitions.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G First Look Review
Source: Mobile Tech Review English
After spending a few days with Samsung’s second generation Galaxy Z Fold 2 Android smartphone that unfolds into a tablet, Lisa Gade offers you her impressions as a Fold 1 owner and as a tech reviewer. Clearly, much has improved over the first gen, with several design innovations from the Galaxy Z Flip finding their way to Samsung’s larger flexible OLED display phone. The outer display is now edge-to-edge and much larger, then inner UTG (ultra thin glass) display is larger, smoother and has 120Hz refresh, the hinge opens firmly at a variety of angles like a laptop, and the ugly inner camera cluster is replaced by an o-hole Infinity Display style selfie camera. Of course, it has the Snapdragon 865 Plus CPU, 5G and other internals on par with the Galaxy S20 and Note 20 line. Triple rear cameras and a new matte finish are here as well. Lisa will post a final review after testing the phone for a few weeks, before the Sept. 18 launch date. The price is scary as ever, at $1,999 in the US.

Galaxy Z Fold 2: Impressive, but not perfect. Everything good and bad today
Source: CNet English
I can't stop looking at the Galaxy Z Fold 2. I keep catching myself glancing admiringly at its cool metal frame, 6.2-inch outer screen and thin bezels. The Z Fold 2 is such a complete, well-considered foldable phone, it's now hard to think of the original Galaxy Fold as anything other than a working mockup with a ridiculous $1,980 price tag.

Hands on: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 review
Source: Techradar English
Based on our limited time with the Galaxy Z Fold 2, it appears that Samsung has addressed all the complaints users had with the original Fold. It’s still a premium device with a specific target market, but the larger screens and better software make it a more attractive proposition for those who want to get their hands on a folding phone.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G pricing might be too steep for regular consumers: Analysts
Source: International Business Times English
Aside from the nostalgic appeal of its design, Samsung's engineers presented a new material to protect the fragile display as well as a reworked hinge system. These are all present in the Galaxy Z Fold2 5G, which promises a huge improvement over its predecessor. Those interested can now reserve their units with shipments expected to arrive by Sept. 18.

I’ve carried the Samsung Galaxy Fold for eight months … and, as of today, I’ve carried the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 for about eight hours. That’s not enough time for me to fully review this two-thousand dollar smartphone (or even take a shower, as it turns out) – but it’s plenty of time for me to answer some of the most popular questions you’ve been tossing to me on Twitter. From “does it still have a crease” to “how does it compare to the Surface Duo,” those questions take center stage in my first video featuring the foldable phone to end all foldables: the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2! Join me for the answers in MrMobile’s Galaxy Z Fold 2 First Impressions video.

7.6":

This display size is a threshold between tablets and smartphones. Most tablets have larger screen diagonals but a lot of smartphones offer such a big screen.

Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
