Reviews for the Realme GT Neo 3T
The realme GT Neo 3T draws attention with its flashy colors and a "Dragon Ball Z" special edition case. Is this all just hype, or does the mid-range smartphone also prove itself in our review?
Source: Cashify
It’s obvious that the Realme GT Neo 3T can be a good choice if you’re looking for a smartphone under 30,000. Particularly for gamers and heavy users. Even though the Realme GT Neo 3T is an excellent value for money phone, I did not notice any major improvements over the previous generation. The only noteworthy changes are the addition of 80W fast charging and a fresh back design. The battery life could have been better, but the 80W charger reduces charging time significantly. Also, the camera performance is not the best in the segment. So, if you enjoy playing games and don’t intend to take a lot of photographs, Realme GT Neo 3T 5G can be a solid option for you.

The Realme GT Neo 3T is a good combination of price and performance, making it an excellent value-for-money phone in this segment. However, it also doesn’t feel very ‘new’ and rather, comes off as a device built around tried-and-tested formulas. But then again, that is something you will find with most phones in this segment. I just expected a little more design flair from the GT series, but it seems that will be reserved for the upper echelons (above Rs 30,000) like the GT 2 Pro and the GT Neo 3. Still the Realme GT Neo 3T leaves no complaints when it comes to performance and functionality, even opting to include features like an optical fingerprint sensor and NFC support, which even some higher priced phones miss out on. If you’re looking for a feature-packed experience around the Rs 25,000 mark, this is a solid option to consider.

The price of the Realme GT Neo 3T starts at Rs 29,999. The smartphone packs a powerful processor and it delivers a good gaming performance. The presence of a good camera and the support for fast charging work in favour of the smartphone. If you are looking for a mid-range gaming smartphone with good looks then you can consider going for the Realme GT New 3T.

But having said that, as of writing this, Realme is currently running discounts on some of its smartphones, including the GT Neo 3T. As part of this offer, the price of the base variant Neo 3T comes down to just Rs 23,999. And for that price, the Neo 3T is a steal. Another device currently available for a discounted price is the Realme GT, which seems to be a nice alternative to the GT Neo 3T for those who need better performance for the same price. The Realme GT Neo 3T is the spiritual successor to the GT Neo 2, featuring the Snapdragon 870 5G chipset, a 5000mAh battery with 80W SuperDart charging, and triple-rear cameras. But is it worth its asking price? Check out our review to find out.

The Realme GT Neo 3T smartphone is not like a state of art phone that has astounding features set, but it sets a pretty competitive stage in the mid-range segment. However, there’s no denying that Realme just rebadge the GT Neo 2 version and it might not look like a sensible move since they are recycling the older version phone. Anyway, the display quality is superb and the hardware section. Though, the camera department doesn’t have any that versatile features since tons of other phones render better camera setups. Furthermore, it’s giving competition to even Realme phones. If you are looking for an alternative, you can check out the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G for a better camera experience with better performance aspects. So choose your next phone wisely and make sure it fits your needs.

The realme GT NEO 3T packs a punch when it comes to performance, the Snapdragon 870 offers a fast flagship-grade performance which is also great for heavy gamers. It has an E4 AMOLED display with a fast 120 Hz refresh rate and comes with superfast 80W fast charging. Everything about the phone is great if you are a performance user, you have most things you need on this phone at this price. The 64 MP main camera takes impressive shots, has enough camera modes to play with, and records 4K at 60 fps, 240 fps slow motion, just the only thing is the lack of OIS support which some photography enthusiasts may demand. In addition to that, other things on the phone are its fully-featured realme UI 3.0, RAM expansion tech, Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling System Plus, and stereo speakers, all of which make the smartphone overall good value for money. In the end, all we have to say is that the realme GT NEO 3T is a powerful performer and is a great pick if you have a budget of around ₹30,000. The price starts at ₹29,999 and realme is offering up to a ₹7,000 discount during the initial sale.

The Realme GT Neo 3T does seem like a repackaged GT Neo 2 with slightly faster charging capabilities. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad phone. As a matter of fact, even by today’s competitive standards, the GT Neo 3T is an excellent choice. It doesn’t lack in any part of the overall smartphone experience but it could do with some improvements with its cameras. With the GT Neo 3T, you get a snappy, well-built, efficient and thermally capable machine that will stand the test of time.

If your a fan of the Dragon Ball Z series this is definitely the phone for you, but I reviewed it as a mid range (approx. £500) phone, and it didn’t disappoint at all, the screen was fluid at 120Hz refresh rate, and the whole device was snappy to use. The battery life was excellent and its easily a tow day per charge phone, that tied to the included 80W charger meant the device was topped up in the length of a shower. I did find that the auto brightness was a bit to aggressive for my liking but it was quickly toggled off. The GT Neo 3T felt a good size in the hand and on some occasions felt preferable to use over my S22 Ultra. I’ve got wireless charging pads all over the house and even in the car, and due to the omission of wireless charging I did miss just plonking down my phone for a quick charge.

The Realme GT Neo 3T is not a major upgrade over 2021’s Realme GT 2. However, this series’s formula still checks out. It offers plenty of power, fast charging, a large display and stereo speakers for a sensible amount of money. The all-plastic design isn’t impressive and you can find a better camera array elsewhere, but it’s a star performer for gaming and video streaming.

In day-to-day use, the Realme GT Neo 3T feels almost exactly like its pricier sibling, the Neo 3. Given that it's so much cheaper, it comes as quite a bargain. The main camera isn't as good, and you might not be able to brag about having the fastest charging phone on the market, but, in all other areas, the Neo 3T is a solid performer. Particularly if you like a bit of gaming, the 1000Hz touch sampling rate is a real rarity at this price point. It's worth considering, though, that last year's GT Neo 2 offers essentially the same spec, just with a 65W charger instead of the 80W on offer here. So, savvy buyers might want to consider picking up a discounted Neo 2, as it likely offers much of the same experience. Otherwise, despite the increasingly competitive mid-range market, the GT Neo 3T stands as a serious value proposition that's well worth considering.

The Realme GT Neo 3T is another assured mid-range effort from this prolific brand, offering strong performance, a 120Hz AMOLED screen and speedy charging. However, it’s remarkably similar to last year’s Neo 2 and there’s strong competition at this price point.

Realme’s GT Neo 3 150W is all about speed, from its racing stripes to its wicked charging speeds. Does it earn those stripes? With the flagship-level MediaTek Dimensity 8100 racing past a lot of its competitors and battery life hardly being an issue, it certainly does. But a mid-range smartphone that lacks camera upgrades from its more affordable siblings and other flagship software features holds it back. While it isn’t the best phone around for high-quality gaming, it can still hold its own without feeling like it's not built just for gamers. Plus, Realme continues to impress with its 120Hz AMOLED display, although it would have been nice to see a headphone jack. The Real GT Neo 3 is a fantastic Android phone, especially if you’re looking for some flagship features without paying top dollar for them. For a mid-range phone, it’s a little on the pricey side, which is especially apparent compared to the $599/£499 Google Pixel 6.

The Realme GT Neo 3T may not sound like a smartphone that stands out from the crowd with a disruptive feature set, but it's a competitive solution. Realme's decision to recycle the Neo2 by re-badging it with the Neo 3T branding might have been a sensible move. Sadly, Realme didn't cut the pricing, given that the GT Neo2 launched for €450 as well. The display quality is excellent, the Snapdragon 870 SoC is still a potent solution in 2022, battery life is solid, and charging is on par with the more expensive GT2 and GT2 Pro and last year's Neo2. Sadly, the camera department and the build quality hold the GT Neo 3T back. There are obviously better builds for the price as well as more versatile and capable camera setups. Moreover, the Neo 3T pricing puts it directly against some tough in-house competition. Perhaps that's the direct effect of inflation, and Realme wasn't able to offer a better deal on what is, technically, a year-old-phone.
