The Galaxy Z Fold3 5G left us impressed in our review. Samsung has succeeded in creating a foldable that has managed to overcome many of the minor teething troubles found in its predecessors. Its stability in particular has been improved even further, and the Fold3 is now also water-resistant according to the IPX8 standard.

The Samsung smartphone has a 7.6-inch foldable display and an additional 6.2-inch panel on the outside. Both are extremely bright, color accurate, and offers refresh rates of up to 120 Hz. The Fold3 is powered by a fast Snapdragon 888 that is joined by a generous 12 GB of RAM; however, the device had to face some criticism in the test as well.

The camera setup is very similar to the predecessor's, and it takes good photos most of the time. Only the ultra wide-angle camera fails to be compelling at all times. Samsung tries something new with a camera under the main display (UDC: Under Display Camera), aiming to provide an uninterrupted view of the entire screen content. This works better than in some older rivals, but it still doesn't look fully refined.

Nonetheless, Samsung offers a strong piece of technology, which is available at an MSRP of $1,799.99. At the time of writing, tough, you can find the Galaxy Z Fold3 5G on Amazon at a discounted price of $1,599.99 ($200 off). This discount applies to the base prices of both storage versions of the Phantom Black model (256GB and 512GB), for example, which are both in stock and ready to ship. The Phantom Silver version is currently only available with 256 GB of storage, but it retains the same discounted price of $1,599.99.

On the other hand, when buying directly from Samsung's online store, you'll have to wait a couple of days more for the item to ship, but you get the option to try it for free for 21 days as well as to pay for it on a monthly basis.
