Samsung has released another edition in the Galaxy Watch 4 series, having already unveiled a Golf Edition in South Korea. The new model comes with a 'premium rhodium-plated finish', two straps and will cost an eye-watering £729 or US$799.

Samsung is falling over its self for new Galaxy Watch 4 models. The company already sells Golf Editions in South Korea, with a Thom Browne edition available for the Galaxy Watch 4. Now, Samsung has given the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic a Thom Browne twist, as it does with almost all its flagship devices these days.

According to a press release, the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Thom Browne Edition comes with three straps: a white leather strap, a fabric strap and a grey fluoroelastomer rubber (FKM) strap. The watch itself is only available in silver, which Samsung promises is a 'premium rhodium-plated finish'. While Samsung does not mention this, Rhodium sits at 6.0 on the Mohs hardness scale; aluminium is 2.75. Rhodium-plated devices and jewellery should also retain its lustre for longer than aluminium or stainless steel.

The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Thom Browne Edition will be available to purchase separately, unlike the equivalent Galaxy Watch 4 version. Samsung will only sell the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Thom Browne Edition as a 42 mm smartwatch with Bluetooth connectivity. Hence, the company has not created LTE or 46 mm models. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Thom Browne Edition will be available to order through Samsung on September 29 for £729 in the UK and US$799 in the US.
