The Galaxy A13 will be Samsung's bottom-rung, entry-level device. While that means it will provide relatively unimpressive hardware, it appears Samsung is set to equip the A13 with a solid main camera at the very least.
According to a new report, the Galaxy A13 will feature a 50 MP main camera. Reports a while ago heavily indicated that next-gen budget and mid-range phones would widely adopt 50 MP cameras. It appears Samsung will kick that off on its lineup with the Galaxy A13, after Xiaomi debuted the Redmi 10 with a 50 MP camera weeks ago.
Of course, being a 50 MP sensor doesn't necessarily mean the A13 will offer exceptional camera performance. The Galaxy S22, for example, will utilize a 50 MP camera as well but almost definitely a different sensor than what could appear on the A13. Either way, the A13 should be a better camera smartphone than the Galaxy A12 that preceded it. Fans of the Galaxy A-series line up have a lot to look forward to, as Samsung is set to grace phones in the series with OIS, impressive cameras, and potentially powerful Exynos chipsets.
