Overall, I really like the MacBook Pro 2020, but I wouldn’t pay $1,299 for a pro-level laptop with an 8th gen processor. That's why I highly recommend that you jump up to the $1,799 configuration of the 13-inch MacBook Pro, which delivers not only a 10th gen chip but faster RAM and four Thunderbolt 3 ports instead of two.

The MacBook Pro 2020’s design is a bit too familiar, but it delivers excellent 10th gen performance, a great Magic Keyboard and long battery life.

I can sum up my MacBook Pro 2020 review in just a few words: Buy it, but don’t get the entry-level model. I simply wouldn’t pay $1,299 for a pro-level laptop with an 8th gen processor. If you have money to burn and feel the Macbook Pro is the best choice for you, I’d suggest getting a $1,799 configuration with a 10th gen Intel Core-i5 Processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 512GB of storage, since you can’t upgrade your Macbook’s specs later on. The $1,799 model comes with two more Thunderbolt ports, more power, and enough speed to last you at least 4 to 5 years before you need to upgrade. The Macbook Pro is doubtlessly a pleasure to use, but that pleasure will cost you dearly.

Above all, this display size is used for subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles. For all three types, this size is quite large. The biggest variety of subnotebooks is represented with this size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.

In the laptop sector, Apple's market share was 9.3% in 2014 and 10.3% in 2016. The latter corresponds to the 5th place. In the smartphone segment, Apple achieved 15.3% in the first quarter of 2016, which means a market share loss when compared to the 18.3% in same quarter of the previous year.
Nevertheless, Apple ranked second place behind Samsung in both years.
There are tons of reviews on Apple laptops, smartphones and tablets. The ratings are significantly above-average (as of 2016).
80.5%: This rating should be considered to be average. This is because the proportion of notebooks which have a higher rating is approximately equal to the proportion which have a lower rating.
