Reviewing the REDMAGIC Astra 2, the best gaming tablet for 2026 with significant upgrades vs the original tab. I've been testing the REDMAGIC Astra 2 for a couple of weeks with Wuthering Waves and Call of Duty Mobile and here's my final verdict! Plus a run-down of how it compares vs the first tablet. You've got all of the usual updates you'd expect, such as a performance boost. However, the REDMAGIC Astra 2 also sports an improved cooling system. Gone is the old fan, replaced with a liquid cooling setup similar to those gamer phones. How much difference does this actually make?

Qualcomm Adreno 840: Integrated graphics unit in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC for smartphones with three slices at 1.2 GHz each. According to Qualcomm, 23% faster than the previous generation (Adreno 830).
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
