I think HP’s Omen 15 (2020) is one of those good purchase decisions. It offers a reasonable amount of performance, looks great and is plenty portable. If you need one computer that can game, move around and work in an office setting, this is probably the one to get.

Ultimately, the price difference between the Omen 15 2019 (15-dh1000) and the Omen 15 2020 (15-ek0000) is around $100 for the same hardware configuration. Now you know what you basically give up with the “older” laptop, and if you don’t really care about battery life, we would strongly advise saving this amount of money and getting a decent gaming accessory (like a mouse for example). Or just take your girlfriend (or boyfriend) out for a nice dinner.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Max-Q: High-End laptop graphics card based on the TU104 chip with 2,560 shaders. Runs at reduced clock speeds compared to a laptop RTX 2070 Super to achieve a much lower power consumption. The TGP is specified at 80 Watts and therefore significantly lower than the RTX 2070 Super Mobile (115 Watt).
These graphics cards are able to play the latest and most demanding games in high resolutions and full detail settings with enabled Anti-Aliasing.
