Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ALC05 in review: Compact, powerful, enduring

86% Lenovo IdeaPad 5 14ALC05 in review: Compact, powerful, enduring

Compact powerhouse. Lenovo's 14-inch laptop offers a powerful APU, space for two NVMe SSDs, and very good battery runtimes. The RAM (16 GB, dual-channel mode) cannot be expanded.

Asus ZenBook 13 laptop review: Core i7-1165G7 versus Ryzen 7 5800U. Which one is the better ZenBook?

89% Asus ZenBook 13 laptop review: Core i7-1165G7 versus Ryzen 7 5800U. Which one is the better ZenBook?

Tough choice. For the first time, the ZenBook 13 is available with either an Intel or an AMD SoC. We already reviewed the AMD version (89%) that, unfortunately, still has poor availability, and now it's the Intel competitor's turn. Will the review reveal a clear decision in favor of one of the two manufacturers?

Fully loaded Dell XPS 13 9310 with 11th gen Core i7, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB NVMe SSD now on sale for $1319 USD (Image source: Amazon)

Deal | Fully loaded Dell XPS 13 9310 with 11th gen Core i7, 16 GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 512 GB NVMe SSD now on sale for $1319 USD

Dell's most popular consumer Ultrabook is a few hundred dollars off at the moment with the highest-end Core i7 CPU option. It doesn't come with 4K, but we're absolutely fine with that considering the already small 13.4-inch screen size.

The Kyocera Duraforce Ultra is tested for sapphire-enhanced durability in a new JerryRigEverything video

The Kyocera Duraforce Ultra is a 5G smartphone that has launched with claims of a profoundly rugged build topped off with a "Sapphire Shield" for its 5.45-inch display. The famous YouTube teardown channel JerryRigEverything has just released a video testing these claims with its usual battery of blades and Mohs hardness picks, not to mention more specialized equipment in this device's case. Can it live up to its lofty toughphone claims?
