MINISFORUM launches the Ryzen 7 4800U-driven HM80 mini PC
The new MINISFORUM HM80 mini PC, introduced today, comes as an upgrade to the existing HM50. While the HM50 comes with a Ryzen 5 4500U processor, its successor sports a Ryzen 7 4800U. The two hardware configurations available are also slightly different, since the best one combines 32 GB of memory and 512 GB of storage, up from 16 and 512 GB for the most potent HM50.
In addition to the processor mentioned above, the new MINISFORUM HM80 features Radeon Vega graphics with adjustable memory size between 512 MB and 2 GB to match the requirements of various games, various storage choices, two GbE ports, four USB 3.0 ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, as well as three display output options, namely DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB Type-C, all capable of 4K@60 Hz video output. The MINISFORUM HM80 comes with Windows 10 Pro already installed.
The two memory/storage configurations and their prices are 16/256 GB at US$759 and 32/512 GB at US$829. Both are early bird prices and will go up by US$100 after the first batch is sold. Shipments are scheduled to start in late June or early July.
