Verdict — Strong Office Fundamentals But With Only A Basic Display
Dell Pro 7 models are all about usability and the Dell Pro 7 13 2-in-1 is arguably the most usable and versatile of the series. Its portable form factor, convertible nature, and practical connectivity options like WAN and Smart Card make the system a no-brainer for traveling office workers. Raw CPU performance and battery efficiency with Panther Lake are especially great when compared to other 13-inch business convertibles like the HP EliteBook 8 Flip G1i or MSI Summit E13.
For a higher-end business convertible, however, a few aspects could have been better. The 60 Hz IPS touchscreen, for example, is too basic for the price with no HDR support or any other panel options to choose from. Users who want a smoother 120 Hz refresh rate experience will instead have to look at the Dell Pro 7 13 clamshell. The lack of any Core Ultra X7 options also limits the graphics and editing capabilities of the Dell when compared to subnotebooks like the Framework Laptop 13 Pro or Asus ExpertBook Ultra.
For future models, we would love to see the active pen included in the box or a potential pen recess to better exploit the 2-in-1 design a la the recent EliteBook X Flip G2i. The Dell 2-in-1 is heavier than even the 14-inch Dell Pro 7 14 clamshell and so thinner bezels to shave off some weight might be the play to boost portability even further.
Pros
Cons
Price and Availability
Dell is now shipping the Pro 7 13 2-in-1 in both Intel and AMD variants starting at $2700 and $2200, respectively.
The Dell Pro 7 13 2-in-1 is the convertible version of the business-centric Dell Pro 7 13 clamshell. It effectively replaces the older Latitude 7000 series including last year's Latitude 7350 2-in-1 with both newer Panther Lake CPU options and an updated chassis design.
Our test unit is the highest-end configuration with the Core Ultra 7 366H vPro CPU and 64 GB of soldered RAM for almost $5000. Of course, lower-end SKUs are available with the Core Ultra 5 325 and 16 GB RAM for $2600 instead. All options ship with the same 60 Hz 1200p IPS touchscreen.
Competitors in this space include other business subnotebooks like the HP EliteBook X Flip, Lenovo ThinkPad L13 2-in-1, or MSI Summit E13 AI Evo.

Specifications
Case
When compared to the older 14-inch Latitude 7450 2-in-1, the 13.3-inch Pro 7 13 2-in-1 is smaller but at almost the same weight for a denser feel. The aluminum construction is as solid as ever if not visually unexciting.

Sustainability
The chassis, battery, and AC adapter consist of PCR plastic, ocean-bound plastic, recycled and low emissions aluminum, glass, steel, copper, and cobalt in various percentages.
Input Devices
Display
The 1200p IPS touchscreen is serviceable with its full sRGB colors and relatively bright backlight, but the average black-white response times and lack of HDR support lead to mediocre media playback. There are no other panels to choose from unlike on the Dell Pro 7 13 clamshell or Dell Pro 7 14 2-in-1.
