Build quality is solid and well-aligned with its price point. Despite the increased size, the A8 Max weighs just 681 grams, making it lighter than some competing models. The 261-gram power supply is also compact and unobtrusive.

The larger case allows for an impressive selection of ports: six USB-A ports (four on the front), two USB4 ports at the rear, and two HDMI outputs.
