Verdict - Efficient and economical mini PC with Ryzen performance and solid features
The Geekom A5 Pro presents itself as a compact mini PC with the efficient AMD Ryzen 5 7530U and integrated Radeon Vega 7. With 16 GB DDR4 RAM and an SSD, it offers a solid basis for everyday and office applications. The variety of connections is functional but falls relatively short of more expensive models - modern features such as USB4 are missing, and a USB-C port on the front would be a useful addition.
The workmanship is high quality, and the small computer also makes an appealing visual impression. The familiar casing design still has the typical advantages and disadvantages. The A5 Pro is energy-efficient in operation and pleasantly quiet when idling, but the fan becomes more audible under load. A finer tuning of the fan control could improve the overall picture. Overall, the mini PC offers good everyday performance at a comparatively attractive price.

Case & Connectivity - High-quality workmanship, but without USB4
The housing of the Geekom A5 Pro is already used in several of the manufacturer's models. Full details on the design and features can therefore be found in our previous Test report. The connectivity is a little less extensive than on the more expensive models. Unfortunately, you have to do without modern interfaces such as USB4.

Maintenance
The Geekom A5 Pro is supplied from the factory with RAM and SSD installed and is therefore ready to use straight away. Upgrading is possible in principle, but requires some dexterity when opening the compact housing.
Sustainability
Although the Geekom A5 Pro can only be repaired to a limited extent, it offers a 36-month warranty, which is above the usual industry standard. The compact packaging enables safe and uncomplicated transportation. In terms of sustainability, Geekom emphasizes the energy-efficient operation of the mini PC, but does not provide any specific information on the use of recycled materials. According to the manufacturer, the device is CE, FCC, CB, CCC, SRRC, PSE, TELEC, CEC and RoHS certified.
Test conditions
All tests were carried out in "Normal Mode" as delivered. A quiet and performance profile can optionally be selected in the BIOS.
Processor
The AMD Ryzen 5 7530U offers solid CPU performance in the mid-range segment. With six cores and twelve threads, it is particularly suitable for multitasking, office applications and productive workloads. The processor also masters more computationally intensive tasks such as data processing or light rendering reliably, but remains below current high-end models.

Graphics card and gaming performance
In the Geekom A5 Pro, the integrated AMD Radeon Vega 7 takes over the graphics output, the performance of which also depends on the RAM configuration. Thanks to dual-channel RAM, the performance is comparatively good, although the iGPU's performance is not sufficient for demanding 3D games. The mini PC is clearly designed for office and everyday applications. However, the Vega 7 offers sufficient performance for simple graphics tasks and smooth playback of HD content, meaning that a dedicated graphics card is not necessary.
