Verdict - Powerful mini PC with Intel Core Ultra X7, Arc graphics and 64 GB RAM
The Khadas Mind Pro impressively demonstrates in the test how much performance can now be accommodated in an extremely compact mini PC. With the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H, the system offers very high CPU performance that can handle even the most demanding applications with ease. At the same time, the new Intel Arc iGPU of the Xe3 generation provides a noticeable leap in graphics compared to previous Mind models and enables GPU-accelerated applications as well as occasional gaming. The fast RAM is also a particularly positive feature, which clearly contributes to the overall excellent performance level in the system and memory benchmarks.
Khadas also remains true to its line when it comes to the casing and workmanship. The high-quality metal casing has a very robust and high-quality appearance, while the slightly larger format of the Mind Pro has advantages in terms of cooling and noise. At the same time, the system remains extremely compact and compatible with the manufacturer's existing accessories. The integrated battery is also practical: it not only enables longer standby operation but also allows the Mini PC to be operated without a power supply unit for short periods. This means that the device can be easily switched between different workstations during operation.
The modular Khadas ecosystem remains a major advantage of the system. Accessories such as the Mind Dock, the Graphics Dock or the Mind xPlay add additional functions to the mini PC and turn it into a versatile platform for different application scenarios—from classic desktop systems to mobile workstations.
However, there are still points of criticism. Upgradeability remains severely limited, as the RAM and WLAN module are soldered in place. In addition, the price is at the upper end of the Mini PC class considering the features on offer. In return, however, buyers receive a particularly compact, powerful, and high-quality system.
Ultimately, the Khadas Mind Pro is a powerful premium mini PC that impresses primarily with its high efficiency, strong CPU performance and integration into the modular Khadas ecosystem.

With the Khadas Mind Pro, the manufacturer from the Far East has added another model to its compact mini PC series. Having already tested the previous systems in the Khadas Mind series, we are now taking a closer look at the latest offshoot. Inside is Intel's Core Ultra X7 358H, which promises even better performance than the previous versions.

Case & Connectivity
Compared to the Mind 2s the housing of the Khadas Mind Pro has become slightly thicker, but remains very compact overall and still relies on an extremely high-quality metal construction. The length and width remain unchanged so that compatibility with the company's own accessories is still guaranteed.
The slightly larger housing also allows Khadas to integrate a larger battery (7.98 Wh), which enables standby operation of up to 48 hours. The HDMI connection has also been upgraded: This now complies with the HDMI 2.1 standard with a bandwidth of 48 Gbit/s and therefore supports 4K resolutions with up to 240 Hz, among other things.

Accessories and optional accessories
The scope of delivery is deliberately minimalist: the packaging only contains the mini PC itself and a 100-watt power supply unit, including a USB-C cable. Optional accessories such as the Mind Dock, the Mind Leather Case, or the Mind Graphics 2 Dock must be purchased separately. With the Mind xPlay, the mini PC can be expanded into a kind of laptop replacement, which means the manufacturer covers almost all conceivable application scenarios.
Maintenance
Maintenance options for the device are limited. In everyday use, these are essentially limited to cleaning the fan. While the mass storage can be replaced, both the RAM and the WLAN module are permanently integrated on the mainboard and therefore cannot be replaced. There is also the option of installing a second M.2-2230 data carrier via a small cover on the underside.
Sustainability
The compact design of the mini PC leaves little room for repairs or upgrades. Apart from the mass memory, most of the components are permanently integrated and therefore not easily replaceable. On the other hand, the compact and space-saving packaging, which makes transportation easier, is a positive feature. The manufacturer does not provide any information on recycled materials or sustainability aspects. According to the manufacturer, the warranty period is 24 months.
Test conditions
Processor
The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H used in the Khadas Mind Pro is one of the most modern mobile processors that Intel currently has in its portfolio. Thanks to its modern hybrid architecture, the CPU combines several performance and efficiency cores, enabling both high peak performance and efficient everyday operation.
In synthetic benchmarks, the processor shows that it can keep up with AMD's Ryzen AI 9 processors. Applications such as rendering or video editing benefit from the high number of cores and the increased clock rates. Compared to older models in the Mind series, the increase in performance is therefore particularly significant in highly parallelized workloads.
The performance of the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H drops slightly under sustained load, which can be easily observed in the Cinebench R15 multi-loop. On average, the processor works with a power consumption of around 45 watts, while the temperatures can rise to up to 97 C at the peak.

System performance
The overall system performance of the mini PC benefits significantly from the new SoC. The fast RAM in particular makes a noticeable contribution to performance, which is reflected in the RAM tests with AIDA64, among others. The Khadas Mind Pro uses a 2 TB Western Digital SN740 SSD, which was already installed in earlier models of the series. In the test, the drive delivers solid performance and shows no temperature-related drops in speed.
It is an M.2 SSD in 2230 format (30 mm). It is also possible to retrofit an additional drive of the same size.

Graphics card and gaming performance
The Khadas Mind Pro relies on the Intel Arc B390 iGPU with 12 Xe3 cores, which is integrated in the Core Ultra X7 358H. Compared to the previous generation, the new Xe3 graphics architecture offers a noticeable increase in performance, which is particularly noticeable in synthetic benchmarks.
The integrated graphics can also make significant gains in GPU-accelerated applications and is positioned more strongly overall than the iGPUs of the previous models. Even AMD can no longer keep up here with its Radeon 890M models. Only the AMD Radeon 8060S of the powerful Strix Halo APUs delivers noticeably more performance. The performance of the Intel Arc B390 iGPU is also sufficient for casual gaming. More demanding titles even run smoothly with high details, meaning that reduced graphics settings are not necessary in many cases.

Khada's Mind Pro with Mind Graphics 2 (GeForce RTX 5060 Ti) in the performance check
In combination with the Mind Graphics 2 and the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti the Khadas Mind Pro gains significantly in graphics performance. The external GPU clearly raises the system above the level of the integrated graphics and also enables more demanding applications and modern games with high details. Thanks to the powerful CPU, the graphics card is well utilized, resulting in a well-balanced team. This transforms the compact mini PC into a powerful desktop alternative for gaming and GPU-accelerated workloads. However, the performance of an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti in combination with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is not quite on par with the Mini-PC setup. However, the performance gap remains manageable and is still acceptable overall.

Emissions
System noise
Khadas has revised the cooling system in the Mind Pro, which has a positive effect on noise development. Thanks to the slightly larger casing, the mini PC is quieter overall than the Mind 2s. Although the system remains audible under load, it is at a more moderate level of just over 40 dB(A) at its peak.
In combination with the Mind Graphics 2, the volume increases to up to 50.6 dB(A) under full load. In gaming, on the other hand, the measured sound pressure level is usually somewhat lower and ranges from 45 to 46 dB(A). The noise development also increases slightly in idle mode, but remains at a low level of around 31.5 dB(A).

Temperature
The housing of the Khadas Mind Pro only heats slightly when idle. Thanks to the metal construction, the heat generated is also distributed relatively evenly over the surface. Under load, the casing temperature increases significantly compared to idle mode. Nevertheless, the measured surface temperatures of just over 40 C remain in a non-critical range overall.
In the stress test, the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H briefly reaches temperatures of up to 80 C, which is still uncritical considering the maximum temperature released by Intel. With an average power consumption of around 45 watts, the CPU temperature then stabilized at around 76 C. However, the SoC got a little hotter in the Cinebench R15 multi-test (97 C).
(±) The maximum temperature on the upper side is 40.2 °C / 104 F, compared to the average of 35.6 °C / 96 F, ranging from 20.6 to 69.5 °C for the class Mini PC.
(±) The bottom heats up to a maximum of 42.5 °C / 109 F, compared to the average of 36.3 °C / 97 F
(+) In idle usage, the average temperature for the upper side is 30 °C / 86 F, compared to the device average of 32.3 °C / 90 F.

Energy management
The Khadas Mind Pro is supplied with a 100 watt power supply unit, which offers sufficient reserves for the more powerful system. In idle mode, the power consumption ranges from around 6.7 to 11.5 watts depending on the load status, while an average of around 53 watts is measured under load. For short periods, consumption can rise to around 64.4 watts, but this is no challenge for the power supply unit. Overall, the Mini-PC proved to be extremely efficient in the test and was able to position itself ahead of all comparison devices.
