The Khadas Mind 2 is the company's latest sleek-looking mini PC, succeeding the original Mind. The Mind 2 sports Meteor Lake CPUs which can be configured with up to 64 GB of memory, and is priced from $799 onwards.

The Khadas Mind is a sleek-looking mini PC with superb expandability, thanks to its 'Mind link' PCIe interface which allows for fast eGPU and dock connections. Just recently, Khadas launched a new version of the Mind with Intel's Meteor Lake CPUs, dubbed the Mind 2.

From the exterior, the Mind 2 has remained unchanged compared to its predecessor. With a weight of just 435 grams and a thickness of 20 mm, the 146 x 105 cm Mind 2 mini PC is impressively compact. The base variant of the Mind boasts Intel's 14-core Core Ultra 5 125H CPU paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5-6400 memory. The higher-end version packs the faster 16-core Core Ultra 7 155H CPU, paired with either 32 or 64 GB of memory.

While the absence of discrete graphics is to be expected considering the tiny form factor of the Khadas Mind, its integrated Arc iGPU is no slouch and should be sufficient to power through most tasks. When in need of higher graphics grunt, the RTX 4060 Ti-powered Mind Graphics eGPU (currently $999 on Amazon) comes in handy which docks with the Mind mini PC through its "Mind link' connector. and promises performance that is even superior to OCuLink.

As far as storage and connectivity are concerned, the Mind 2 boasts up to 1 TB of solid-state storage which can be upgraded down the line thanks to its user-accessible M.2 2230 slot hidden beneath a magnetic cover. The Mind 2 sports an extensive array of ports, including dual USB 3.2 Type-A ports, Thunderbolt 4, USB 4, and HDMI 2.0. Apart from the aforementioned Mind Graphics unit, Khadas also offers the Mind Dock which boasts an even greater number of ports. A portable display dubbed 'Mind xPlay' is also in the works and will feature a built-in battery when launched.

The Khadas Mind 2 is available for pre-order, with shipments starting later this month. Unsurprisingly, the mini PC has been priced at a premium, details of which are as follows:

  • Mind 2 with Core Ultra 5 125H, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD - $799
  • Mind 2 with Core Ultra 7 155H, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD - $1,099
  • Mind 2 with Core Ultra 7 155H, 64 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD - $1,399
