Morefine's M11 is a recently launched mini PC that boasts a 7-inch touchscreen display along with a built-in battery. The system's internals are relatively humble, but its affordable pricing and full-fat desktop OS might allow for compelling usage scenarios.

Mini PCs are essentially desktop systems, except with an efficiency-first design allowing for impressively compact form factors that are far smaller than typical tower PCs. Therefore, they do require customers to supply their own keyboard, display, and tracking device to be able to operate the system.

Morefine's recently launched M11 mini PC takes a different approach to that rule by including a 7-inch touchscreen and a built-in battery for a tablet-like form factor without having to compromise on a full-fat desktop operating system.

At the heart of the M11 are Intel's quad-core N100 or N200 'Alder Lake-N' processors paired with 16 GB of LPDDR5 memory, enabling decent performance considering its size and power envelope. A 3,400 mAh battery is built-in, which will be good for 3.5 hours of unplugged usage and 24 hours of standby time as per Morefine's claims.

As for storage and connectivity, the Morefine M11 can accommodate up to 2 TB of NVMe SSDs courtesy of its rather unusual M.2 2242 slot. The M11 offers a generous selection of ports, including three USB 3.2 Gen 2, a single USB 2.0, HDMI 2.1, one USB 3.0 Type-C port, an audio jack, as well as a gigabit ethernet port. A kickstand is also included, allowing for convenient usage when placed on a flat surface.

Needless to say, the internals are by no means powerful, and potential customers should temper their expectations from the M11. Even as a tablet, the 173 x 116 x 22 mm enclosure is pretty thick, and will likely hinder the device's portability. However, for education and casual use, the M11's desktop OS along with its 7-inch touchscreen might prove to be a great companion for many.

The Morefine M11 starts at $348 for the Intel N100-powered variant with 16 GB of memory and 256 GB of NVMe storage, making the system pretty affordable for what it offers. The highest-end variant is priced at $502 and boasts the Intel N200 CPU with 16 GB of memory and a whopping 2 TB of NVMe storage.
