Morefine launches new fanless mini PC with entry-level Alder Lake CPU and plenty of legacy I/O

Morefine has quietly launched a new fanless mini PC called the IPC-200. It is tailor-made for industrial applications and includes several features designed to operate in environments unsuitable for conventional PCs. The system pairs Intel's low-power Alder Lake-based N100 processor with no RAM or storage, so you'll need to bring your own. The lack of fans also removes a major point of failure and should allow the mini PC to operate unattended for longer periods.

While its Alder Lake-N chip won’t smash benchmarks, its low power requirements make more sense in a machine like this, where uptime matters most. It features four cores and four threads, a boost clock of up to 3.4 GHz, and a 6 W TDP . Morefine has wrapped the IPC-200 in an entirely fanless enclosure dominated by large cooling fins across the top and sides.

Connectivity includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports, alongside HDMI and VGA outputs. Morefine has also fitted six USB Type-A ports. Four USB 3.2 ports sit alongside the power button on one side of the chassis, while two USB 2.0 ports sit next to the Ethernet jacks. The Morefine IPC-200 also comes with two serial ports labelled COM1 and COM2, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack. Lastly, it has two 1 Gbps Ethernet jacks and a Wi-Fi 5 radio for internet and networking.

Morefine currently lists the IPC-200 for $289 on its online store. For now, only the barebones variant is available with the ageing Alder Lake processor, although the dropdown menu on Morefine’s website suggests that additional configurations could arrive at some point.
