Morefine M6: Pocketable mini-PC refreshed with new processors and two SSDs
Morefine has refreshed the M6, a compact mini-PC that it debuted over three years ago. To recap, the original Morefine M6 arrived in October 2021 before reaching Indiegogo and AliExpress in January and February 2022, respectively. This time, Morefine has skipped the crowdfunding stage altogether and is offering the new M6 through its web shop or AliExpress.
For some reason, Morefine is selling more SKUs on AliExpress than on its webshop. Specifically, the company is offering the mini-PC with just an Intel Processor N200 on its webshop but the lesser Processor N100 and the Processor N200 on AliExpress. Both members of Intel's Alder Lake-N generation, the Processor N100 and Processor N200 also have 6 W TDPs and four single-threaded cores. However, the Processor N200 has 300 MHz faster CPU cores than the Processor N100, as well as a more powerful UHD Graphics Xe 750 iGPU.
Additionally, Morefine includes soldered LPDDR5-4800 RAM and two M.2 2280 slots that support up to PCIe 3.0 NVMe drives. Moreover, the mini-PC features numerous ports, despite its 155 x 80 x 19 mm case size. As the image below shows, Morefine has equipped the M6 with the following I/O:
- 1x 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- 1x 3.5 mm jack
- 1x HDMI 2.0
- 3x USB 3.2 Type-A
- 1x USB Type-C
- 1x USB Type-C (power only)
The new Morefine M6 starts at $194.86 with a Processor N100, 16 GB of RAM and no storage or 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Meanwhile, the mini-PC only costs a few dollars more ($198.77) on AliExpress with a Processor N200. At the time of writing, Morefine sells 512 GB and 1 TB of storage options, although no SKUs exceed 16 GB of RAM.
