Hyte has now started selling the Y70 Touch globally, an unusual PC case equipped with a large display. Specifically, the Y70 Touch features a 14.1-inch panel that outputs at 1,100 x 3,840 pixels and supports ten touch inputs simultaneously. As the video below shows, the display has various uses, including showing temperatures and CPU/GPU utilisation.
According to Hyte, the Y70 Touch has a 70.7-litre capacity, which corresponds to 47 x 32 x 47 cm dimensions. Thus, the case supports most modern motherboard sizes, whether those are ATX, Micro ATX or ITX standards. Additionally, the Y70 Touch can host a 180 mm tall CPU cooler, as well as three top-mounted 120 mm fans, a 140 mm rear-mounted fan and a 360 mm radiator that is up to 125 mm thick.
Moreover, the PC case is large enough to handle GPUs that measure up to 422 mm in length and 105 mm in width. Until now, the company sold the Y70 Touch exclusively in Canada and the US, with sales beginning in both markets immediately after the PC case's late-October launch. Currently, the Y70 Touch retails for €399 in the Eurozone and £349.99 in the UK. While the Y70 Touch is in stock within both markets, Hyte warns its North American customers that its case is on backorder until the end of February 2024 in its Snow White finish.
