LG UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE launching soon with 44.5-inch, 240 Hz and 1440p OLED display
LG is set to have a busy CES 2024, with the company having announced six new UltraGear OLED gaming monitors ahead of next month's conference. Seemingly, the UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE shares many of its specifications with the UltraGear OLED 45GS96QB, details of which we have covered separately. Thus, the former spans 44.5-inches across, although LG rounds this up to '45' in the monitor's model number.
For some reason, the company has elected against publishing any UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE renders yet. Instead, it has provided preliminary specifications, including that the monitor will rely upon anti-glare low reflection (AGLR) OLED technology. Additionally, the gaming monitor has a 21:9 aspect ratio like the 32GS95UE, 34GS95QE and 45GS96QB, plus a 3,440 x 1,440-pixel resolution.
Moreover, the UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE outputs at 240 Hz with 0.03 ms GtG response times and 400 nits peak brightness (VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400). On top of that, the monitor provides an 800R curvature, an adjustable stand and three video outputs. The UltraGear OLED 45GS95QE lacks any built-in speakers though, which is also true for many of LG's other new UltraGear OLED monitors. Unfortunately, LG has not revealed pricing or availability yet, which it will likely withhold until CES 2024 at the earliest.
