Siegenia unveils new Apple Homekit-compatible Smart Window Handle
Siegenia has revealed its Smart Window Handle, which is now available in the EU. The advantage of this smart home gadget over a smart window sensor like the Ring Alarm Contact Sensor is the ability to lock all window handles remotely.
Other features of the Smart Window Handle include checking the status of your window locks and locking or unlocking all windows simultaneously. Plus, the gadget removes the need for a physical key, which can easily be lost. The product is Matter and Thread compatible, allowing you to integrate it into various systems like Apple Home, Google Home, and Samsung SmartThings. Controls are offered via voice commands or an app, where you can set up a schedule. Plus, you can create scenes with multiple smart home gadgets triggered by a single action, like leaving the house. It could also be used with smart heating, ensuring radiators are turned off when windows are open.
The battery-powered device can be retrofitted to windows with wooden or plastic frames and you can choose from two colors: white or Anthracite (gray).
