Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651
The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 is a high-end dual-screen gaming laptop that combines Intel Panther Lake hardware, an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, and two 16-inch OLED displays for demanding creative and gaming workloads. Reviews commend its multitasking advantages, strong performance, and engineering ambition, while noting its high price, weight, and portability compromises.

Pros

+ Excellent dual OLED displays
+ Strong RTX 5090 performance
+ Real multitasking advantage
+ Powerful creator workstation
+ Rich connectivity options

Cons

- Extremely high price
- Heavy for travel
- Bulky dual-screen design
- Keyboard compromises usability
- Limited mainstream appeal

The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 is a flagship dual-screen laptop designed for creators, streamers, developers, designers, and high-end gamers. It features an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, 64 GB of LPDDR5x memory, and 2 TB of storage. Its defining feature is a pair of 16-inch OLED displays, which reviewers describe as genuinely useful for productivity rather than a gimmick. The laptop delivers strong gaming and workstation performance, supported by capable cooling, good audio, modern connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, and a 90 Wh battery. Reviewers praise its engineering and workflow flexibility but repeatedly point to its heavy chassis, bulky design, and very high price of around 6700 Euro. Overall, it is a specialized premium machine for users who truly need portable dual-screen power, not a practical choice for mainstream buyers.

89.3% Perfect multitasking with RTX 5090 - Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 Review | Notebookcheck
Asus takes the dual-screen convertible concept to a new level with the new ROG Zephyrus Duo, a dual-screen gaming laptop powered by Intel's Panther Lake CPUs as well as the GeForce RTX 5090.
95% ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 (2026) Review: Two 16-inch OLED displays are no joke anymore
Source: Root Nation English
The ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 (2026) is one of the most ambitious laptops I have handled. It is impressive, unconventional, and prompts a reconsideration of what a “portable computer” actually is. It also demonstrates that two full-size 16-inch OLED displays are not merely a marketing concept, but a genuine functional advantage for specific workloads. Who I would recommend the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 for: This laptop is best suited for video editors, streamers, 3D artists, designers, and developers who require a large working area without relying on external monitors. It is also relevant for users who frequently find themselves thinking, “I wish I had a second screen right now” – the ASUS ROG Zephyrus Duo GX651 directly addresses that need. Who should consider alternatives: Users who prioritize maximum portability and primarily work on the go may find a traditional laptop form factor more practical for their specific use cases.

80% Dual screens on a gaming laptop sounds absurd until you try it for a week
Source: XDA Developers English
Most gaming laptops are designed to hurt your wallet and your back. They're desktop replacements that just happen to be portable (barely in some cases). The ROG Zephyrus Duo only does one of those things, while giving you a second screen for productivity or checking out game guides while you're playing. I love how absurd it is, and how much that second screen elevates your experience. It isn't a device for everyone, but it absolutely deserves to exist for those niche users who will love it as much as I do.

80% Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo review: A dual-screen gaming laptop for work and play
Source: PC World English
The Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo successfully brings the dual-screen formula that works for its mid-range ZenBook Duo to a high-end gaming laptop. It’s not quite as useful for gaming as it is for productivity, but having a second screen available is handy if you need to reference a guide or video while playing. And while the ROG Zephyrus Duo is primarily a gaming laptop, it’s also a solid choice for general productivity, in which case the dual-screen design is a major advantage. There is a trade-off, however, and that’s the performance-per-dollar Asus can offer. The ROG Zephyrus Duo uses an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor with 16 cores. Only four of those are performance cores, and that has consequences for the laptop’s multi-core CPU performance. While it’s hardly slow, the Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo is behind a laptop like the MSI Raider 16 Max HX, which has the 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. Fortunately for Asus, the ROG Zephyrus Duo strikes back with several excellent features. It has a large touchpad, a great sound system, two gorgeous OLED displays, and long battery life (so long as the discrete GPU is not engaged). These perks will help some shoppers overlook the Core Ultra 9 386H’s modest scores in multi-threaded benchmarks.

90% A one-of-a-kind gaming laptop: How did ASUS fit an RTX 5090 inside a dual-screen PC? I tested the new ROG Zephyrus Duo to find out.
Source: Windows Central English
Impressive engineering, two gorgeous OLED displays, a quality keyboard, superb audio, and capable cooling are the ROG Zephyrus Duo's highlights. I love to see this type of experimentation outside of the laptop world's usual boundaries, even if it's not meant for mainstream buyers. If you have the budget and want to try something new, it's hard not to love this unique gaming laptop ASUS has created.

Asus Rog Zephyrus Duo Review (2026): 2 Giant Screens Make 1 Massive Gaming Laptop
Source: Slashgear English
Overall, this is a fun, but bulky machine to carry around, but I keep coming back to the fact that it's a gaming laptop. It's also pretty expensive, but again, it's a gaming laptop. By their very nature, gaming laptops are top-of-the-line machines built to get every frame per second you can out of it. That comes at a cost, especially in this day and age. It's definitely at the top end of the price spectrum, but it's a special machine. The Zephyrus Duo is not for me — I tend to favor much thinner and much lighter laptops because of my job and because of the fact that I'm really not much of a gamer. But if you are, and you like the idea of playing a game on the top screen while you stream on the bottom, or have a map open, or something similar, this is a very tempting device to pick up. But it's going to cost you — both in your wallet, and on your back. So, if you want to explore this device, be very, very sure you want everything it will give you, because you're going to pay a lot to get it.

2026 Asus ROG Zephyrus DUO GX651 explained (dual OLED displays)
Source: Ultrabook Review English
All in all, this Asus ROG Zephyrus DUO is an unique offer in the niche of high-performance workstations that can tackle any work activity or modern game, with the versatility of a dual-display format with two full-size 16-inch displays, and the inherent drawbacks that spun from this format: weight, thickness, performance kept in-0check by the need to keep thermal low, and finally, pricing. Expect this to be one of the most expensive notebooks currently on the market, although budget is hardly a concern when shopping for this sort of machinery.
