Powerful subnotebook. The EliteBook 735 G5 is the smallest model of HP's AMD-exclusive business notebooks. Although it performed well in our tests, the capabilities of the Ryzen APU were not exhausted. In this review, we show why the EliteBook 735 G5 is a great business laptop regardless.

Thin, fast, and flimsy. Despite its drawbacks, the MSI GS65 remains one of the best slim gaming notebooks currently available. Today’s updated, less expensive configuration ($1,849) features a Core i7-8750H, 16 GB of RAM, a GTX 1060, and 256 GB NVMe SSD. How does it stack up?

Display disappointment. Hewlett Packard's 15.6-inch notebook features a Core i5 CPU, a fast NVMe SSD, and a dedicated GeForce MX 110 GPU with GDDR5 video RAM. Unfortunately, the matte FHD panel was a disappointment.

13.3-inch lightweight. The ZenBook S (UX391) is a particularly light 13.3-inch laptop from Asus. It tips the scale at just 1 kg, but the manufacturer says the performance is not affected. We review the rival for the XPS 13.

The better and cheaper X1. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G6 has joined its WQHD HDR and Core i7 equipped sibling in our offices for review. The G6 is the entry-level model of current touchscreen-equipped Carbon X1 devices. The G6 is free from the thermal issues from which its sibling suffered thanks to its less powerful CPU, but this comes at a cost to the WQHD HDR display. Despite this drawback, the G6 provides a more rounded overall experience than its more expensive sibling.

Déjà-vu. HP’s latest 14-inch notebook boasts a quad-core processor, 8 GB of dual-channel RAM and Intel Optane Memory. Unfortunately, the display is bitterly disappointing.

Refinement. The Precision 5530 is, in many ways, what the Precision 5520 should have been. While the updated machine still struggles with thermal throttling, CPU stability and performance are improved. The GPU has also been upgraded without much sacrifice to heat output. The overall experience is much better.

Up in the air. The ProBook 645 G4 comes with a powerful AMD APU, good input devices and a fast NVMe SSD. Despite its 900 to1000-Euro (~$1051 to $1167) price tag, the device is not free of flaws: The notebook has poor battery life and a dim display with a poor contrast ratio.

A lot is new inside, but nothing new outside. Acer has equipped the TravelMate P2510 with an i5-8250U from Intel's eighth generation of chips and even topped that with a dedicated Nvidia GeForce MX130, which provides the TravelMate with an additional graphics boost. Unbelievably thin! The latest revision of the Acer Swift 7 is not only slimmer than its predecessor, but it also packs an Intel Core i7 Y-series processor, which should provide better performance and a multi-touch display. Quiet Giant. The Omen 17t is a well-balanced notebook. Its internals are consistently powerful, its 144 Hz G-Sync display is one of the best on the market, and it manages heat and noise with aplomb. With its competitive pricing, the Omen 17t is one of the best overall packages in the gaming laptop market.

Multimedia oddball. Lenovo has outfitted the first 15-inch laptop in its 700 series with exotic hardware, including an i7-7700HQ with a TDP reduced to 35 watts and a 1050 Ti Max-Q. The contender has a lot to offer—a great display, long battery life—but the proverbial fly in the ointment could be a no-go for some people.

TravelMate: The name speaks for itself. What do you expect from a "TravelMate"? A reliable companion that does not run out of juice while on the go and an 08/15 case that is sufficiently resistant to everyday signs of use. The TravelMate offers all of this; however, Acer bargains away a better rating due to some downsides.
