It's official: Borderlands 3 coming September 13
If you were waiting for an official announcement regarding the release of Borderland 3, the wait is over: Gearbox Software has just published the announce trailer on YouTube and also confirmed that the full gameplay reveal will take place on the first day of May.
In addition to the above, the official press release also reveals that the development team worked with AMD to provide the best Borderlands 3 experience possible on Ryzen processors and Radeon GPUs. The game's highlights include new worlds beyond Pandora, each with unique environments and enemies to explore and take out, "bazillions of guns and gadgets," four Vault Hunters (Moze as THE GUNNER, Amara as THE SIREN, FL4K as THE BEASTMASTER, and Zane as THE OPERATIVE) — each with unique abilities and playstyles, and more.
Borderlands 3 is developed using the Unreal Engine technology, so it will most likely run great on not-so-potent PCs. Standard, Deluxe, and Super Deluxe editions of Borderlands 3 can be already pre-ordered. If everything works according to plan, it will launch on September 13 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PCs. Sadly, Windows PC gamers will have to get it on the Epic Games Store or wait for the exclusivity period to end until April 2020.
