Review Toshiba Satego X200-21D notebook

89% Review Toshiba Satego X200-21D notebook

The next (last?) samurai. The currrent gaming-series by Toshiba is available in a number of different configurations. The 21D comes, e.g., with a more powerful CPU and a WSXGA display with a resolution of 1680x1050 pixel. Of course, these features raise the price, but, some potential buyers might still especially be attracted by the high-resolution display.

Some like it big. That`s it, for with the D901C wimps are at the wrong place. Big and heavy, but for a notebook a virtually incredible performance. That performance is provided by a Core 2 Extreme Quad QX6850 CPU with 3.0GHz together with two NVIDIA Geforce 8700M GT graphic cards with 512MB GDDR3 video memory each. O, yes, three hard disks with 250GB capacity each are also to be found in the casing. With this equipment the mySN D901C (Clevo D901C) represents the zenith of notebook technology at present.

Indigo Blue - This is the name of the reviewed Sony notebook. This office notebook with interesting price-performance ratio is, furthermore, also available in designs called 'Luxury Pink' and 'Pure White' and should, so, attract attention to a broad group of potential buyers sensible to design. As usually, the following review also informs about the other characteristics of the VGN-CR21S.

Old Friend. At a closer look the Asus Pro31S, offered by MediaMarkt, turned actually out to be a F3SC, a well sold model of the well-known Asus F3 series. Obviously, the equipment was hardly changed: Core 2 Duo CPU, nVIDIA Geforce 8400M G, 2 GB main memory, and 160 GB harddisk capacity. However, the price has changed in the meanwhile - it was reduced.

84% Review Zepto Znote 6224W

The details of the Zepto Znote 6224W look like a wish-list of many notebook buyers: this black laptop from Denmark is supposed to be small, high-performance and at the same time very reasonably priced. But can this 14-inch laptop, which is based on the Intel Centrino generation and the potent Geforce 8600 M GT graphic of nVIDIA, indeed keep this promise? We made the test.

87% Review Sony Vaio VGN-NR11S/S Notebook

Office bargain. Notebooks from Sony do not always have to cost a lot of money: this proves the new Sony Vaio NR11S. Specifically developed for the “light user” with low hardware demands. This laptop offers no more one needs as basic equipment, but in good quality. “Simple, sporty and clever” – Rarely an advertising slogan fits a notebook so well as it fits the Vaio NR11S/S.

Compact Business by Asus. The Asus V2S tries to score points by mobility with a 14 inch format, and at the same time by an adequately big display and good equipment. The basic data of this notebook sound interesting: Compact 2.5kg case, 14" WXGA+ display with non-reflecting surface, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU with 2.0 GHz and nVIDIA Geforce 8600M GS video card. So, this laptop is even fit for multimedia and graphics.

Power-Sub. If Dell launches a subnotebook which belongs to the XPS series, you'll should already know what you can expect. Right, first-class performance. Review Dell Vostro 1000 Notebook

Low Price Vostro. Since last year Dell has equipped its notebooks with AMD processors. The Vostro 1000 belongs to the second generation of these laptops based on Intel's competitor platform, which should be cheaper as a rule. This series, which is also meant for small companies, differs from other representatives of this new range, because it doesn't have a modern case. Actually, it got the one, which was already used for its predecessor.

Take a current Inspiron notebook providing high-quality components, colour it in an elegant but simple plain black, sprinkle the preparation with some business support and here we go – another addition of Dell’s already interesting range of products. With regard to performance some doubts might arise in its ability to facilitate business users’ needs, as it seemingly was targeted towards running games. It contains a GeForce 8600M GT which can passably master even the newest computer games.

The Satellite A200 Serie from Toshiba aims to the needs of a wide consumer market with a focus on the relation of price/value. What makes the difference between the series A210 and A200? Not really much. Besides the identical case and a partially identical display, only the implemented graphics hardware from AMD and ATI is different. You can get it starting with about 700 euro. The components of the Alienware Area-51 m9750 thrill gamers: Especially the two Geforce 7950 GTX in SLI-mode and the solid state disk as system hard disk stand for excellent performance. The outside's fine but underneath? Varnish and Leather. Something special came in our editorial office, the Asus U1F. Beginning with the nice package, an external drive, a Bluetooth mouse in a cloth bag to a supplement battery. But, the 11,1" small notebook did not only impress with accessories. The leathery palm rest areas are also one of the highlights of this completely designed piece. However, how does this Asus notebook rate in the main criteria? This is covered by the following review.

Business goes Gaming – This could be the slogan which Asus could use to advertise the V1S. Intel Core 2 Duo T7300, NVidia GeForce 8600M GT, 160GB hard disk: Is this a business notebook? Absolutely, because it is also complemented by Centrino-Pro functions: Intel Active Management Technology, TPM Security Chip, fingerprint reader, docking port. Function follows Design? The Toshiba Satellite U300-114 is a classical subnotebook with 13,3" display and good looking design.
