Future Windows 11 builds will finally enable tabs in File Explorer

Microsoft is testing a tabbed File Explorer UI in Dev Channel builds of Windows 11. The feature is hidden for now but can be manually enabled using the ViveTool. The tabbed Explorer UI is still a work-in-progress but does allow users to open multiple tabs in the same window while also allowing tab scrolling just like a browser.

MediaTek Dimensity 9000 vs Snapdragon 8 Gen 1: First mass-production device benchmarks show less of a gap than previously thought

Earlier MediaTek Dimensity 9000 benchmarks were run on a prototype machine and showed the MediaTek chipset with a 40%+ efficiency advantage over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The Dimensity 9000 has now debuted on an actual smartphone, though—the OPPO Find X5 Pro—and new CPU benchmarks tell a different story.

Google brings YouTube Vanced to an end in its war against third-party YouTube apps

Google has forced YouTube Vanced to end, just over four years after the service started. Reputedly, Google threatened YouTube Vanced with a cease and desist, and asked it to remove all references to YouTube. Existing YouTube Vanced installations will not be affected, though.
