Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Edition of the Nintendo Switch OLED is unleashed, not available to catch just yet

Scarlet and Violet clash in the latest versions of Pokémon for the Nintendo Switch, and now they can do the same right on the console as well. The OLED version's latest Special Edition adopts the game's style in a way that might prove the ideal bundle for fans of the title.

The Scarlet & Violet Switch OLED might also provide a useful introduction for new players, as its rear panel is liberally adorned with graphics for the game's starter pocket-monsters (Fuecoco, Sprigatito or Quaxly). The console's dock is also a constant reminder of the Legendary Pokémon (Koraidon and Miraidon) out there to aim for.

Then again, the bundle does not seem to include either Pokémon Scarlet or Violet. They are currently set at a pre-order price of US$59.99 each, although they are available together for US$119.99 on Amazon.

Nevertheless, this Switch OLED SKU does come with JoyCons in their newest red and purple shades, customized with the Academy crests (Naranja and Uva respectively) as appropriate.

The new Special Edition also comes with a new price: US$359.99 - however, it cannot be ordered until November 4, 2022.
