Released to universal critical acclaim for multiple platforms back in 2016, Persona 5 got the Royal version in 2019, and now this version is finally making its way to the Nintendo Switch system. This title includes more than 40 items of previously released downloadable content and carries a price tag that reads US$59.99.

Persona 5 was developed by P-Studio and was first announced in 2013, when it was supposed to launch in 2014. However, it only managed to arrive in 2016, but was received as one of the greatest role-playing video games of all time and received multiple awards ever since. The enhanced Royal version, which features new content, was released worldwide in March 2020. Now, it is finally available for Nintendo Switch.

The highlights of Persona 5 Royal for Nintendo Switch include the following:

  • Alternate endings.
  • The ability to explore Tokyo and unlock multiple Personas.  
  • Customize your own Thieves Den.
  • Live a double life: Act as a regular student at day, but become a Phantom Thief at night.
  • More than 40 items of previously released downloadable content.
  • The choice between Japanese and English voice over.

The game is rated Mature 17+ by ESRB for the presence of blood, violence, strong language, sexual themes, partial nudity, and drug references. Personal 5 Royal carries a US$59.99 price tag and supports the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. It has a game file size of 14.2 GB and supports three play modes, namely TV, tabletop, and handheld. Steam users will be delighted to find out that Persona 5 Royal arrived to Valve's platform today as well.
