Nintendo Switch Update 15.0.0 now available with multiple changes
Released worldwide over half a decade ago, the original Nintendo Switch was followed by the OLED Model in 2021. By June 2022, Nintendo managed to sell more than 110 million Switch consoles. Now, both receive a firmware update that brings the software version number up to 15.0.0 and, in addition to the usual tweaks and fixes, the refresh comes with a few minor changes that can be noticed at first sight.
The list of noticeable changes mentioned above only contains two items, namely the position change of the Bluetooth Audio menu with System Settings and the ability to take screenshots when using the Nintendo Switch Online application via the Capture Button (however, video capture is not supported). In addition to these two, the Nintendo Switch Update 15.0.0 pieces of code also include "general system stability improvements" that promise to enhance the overall user experience.
As is usually the case with such firmware updates, the Nintendo Switch Update 15.0.0 should be automatically downloaded on the consoles where the option to do so has been enabled in the System Settings menu. Obviously, it is also possible to download the update manually, thanks to the System Update option within System Settings.
