The Blackview BL8800 Pro ticks all of the boxes if you're looking for a phone that doesn't need babysitting. True to its rugged form, the device can be dropped to the ground or submerged in water and still come out unscathed. While the phone's durability and performance are impressive, its cameras are nothing to write home about.

It’s heavy, it’s resilient and rugged, and it’s quite big. The Blackview BL8800 Pro might double as a weapon, or as a doorstop, but ultimately, it’s a quite average phone wrapped in thick, protective plastic. This is by no means a bad thing, but while the BL8800 Pro benchmarks to a reasonable standard and isn’t too expensive, it may take a while to set up to your liking. The issues with the Russian set-up and preinstalled apps and games may make this an unattractive option unless you’re absolutely set on a rugged phone with thermal imaging night vision. Otherwise, it’s a decent, tough phone that you can rely on in all scenarios.

Blackview BL8800 Pro is another rugged phone with a high-resolution screen and great cameras, long-lasting battery with 33W fast charge, 90Hz fluid display, top-tier 4G processor, latest Doke OS 3.0 based on Android 11, 50MP AI quad-camera, night vision function, etc. All this does not mean that it is flawless because cannot watch Netflix in HD resolution even the GPU is not above average. But, compared with rugged phone counterparts, it’s excellent in every aspect while being affordable. So, the BL8800 Pro will not disappoint you and is well deserved to be one of the best rugged phones for 2022.

It is a small display format for smartphones. You shouldn't be severely defective in vision, and you won't see much detail on the screen and only have a small resolution available. For that, the device should be small and handy, easy to transport.

80%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
