The Redmi Pad is on the way. Details of the first Redmi-branded tablet have leaked over the past month, with the device surfacing in a leaked render alongside the Xiaomi 12T Pro last week. The latest leak, however, purports to reveal global pricing information on the Redmi Pad.
According to Pricebaba, the Redmi Pad will be available in two configurations: one with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, and another with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Supposedly, the base SKU will cost €250, while the 4/128 GB model will cost €350.
We're unable to confirm the veracity of that information, as it seems quite hard to believe. For one, the more premium Xiaomi Pad 5 launched in Europe last year at €399 for the 6/128 GB SKU. It would make little to no sense for the supposedly more affordable Redmi Pad to cost just €50 less, with even less RAM. That said, though, the Redmi Pad's closest rival, the Realme Pad, costs €259 in 4/64 GB form.
The Redmi Pad is tipped to sport an 11.2-inch IPS display, a MediaTek Helio G99, 22.5 W charging, and a 7800 mAh battery. It's said to be available in a single grey colorway.
