Reviews for the Asus Zenbook 14 UX3402ZA, i5-1240P

90% ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) review: ultra-portable, stylish and powerful
Source: Root Nation English
The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) is one of those laptops that I can recommend to most interested users without hesitation. It has almost everything you would expect from a laptop of this class, although, of course, there are some drawbacks. Let me start with them. I didn’t quite like the built-in speakers, as they produce a sound that is almost devoid of low tones. Also worth mentioning is the rather high temperature of the case if we use the full power of the equipment. Still, the Intel Core i7 1260P is powerful, but also quite hot. The Intel Core i5 1240P, which is also used in the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402), would have been enough for me. Also, the camera still leaves much to be desired, although this is a problem with almost all Windows laptops. Speaking of prices, it should be understood that this is a premium product and there are no low prices in this segment anymore. I also missed the included stylus, but that’s another story. But after spending a fairly significant amount of your money, you get a top-of-the-line Zenbook laptop. The build quality is very high, and I really liked the updated design of the aluminium case. The undoubted advantage of this laptop is, of course, its OLED display – bright, with high resolution, a very wide colour palette, good colour reproduction, infinite contrast, good HDR reproduction and a refresh rate above the standard (90 Hz). We shouldn’t forget about the very productive SSD drive and a solid processor that can handle the tasks we expect from this type of laptop without any problems. In addition, we get a very comfortable keyboard, a large touchpad with the NumberPad option, a fairly good set of ports, a fairly high-quality webcam, and a long battery life. And all this is enclosed in a very thin and lightweight body, which contributes to the mobility of the device. The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) is an ideal choice for those looking for a powerful, mobile and versatile laptop in a slim body with a modern design.

[REVIEW] ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) - Luxury, style, and a touch of performance

ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) review
Source: Laptop Media English
Obviously, the Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) is far from a gaming device. However, this doesn’t stop it from being a fantastic business notebook, which can let you do professional color-related work while elevating your media-consumption experience. We might talk about some disadvantages here. First, there is the soldered memory. It has a maximum capacity of 16GB, which is not ideal for 2022, given the fact that you won’t be able to upgrade it down the line. Some might consider the temperature results to be a fail, but in fact, the CPU managed to maintain a 30W power target, which is 2W higher than its TDP. Also, the Zenbook 14 OLED (UX3402) sports a super elegant design, and construction, which is very well built, and even complies with the MIL-STD-810H durability standard. And on the question should you pursue the Intel or the AMD version we will say – stay tuned for our in-depth comparison. Spoiler alert – battery life may be a deciding factor.

Asus’ Latest Zenbook 14 OLED Does Just About Everything In Style At A Great Value
Source: Reviewed.com English
The Asus Zenbook 14 OLED is a strong refresh to a solid product line. This 2022 model boasts capable performance that will meet most users' needs, and it packs it all into a chassis that looks and feels more premium than its $750 price tag lets on. While the display stands out as this laptop’s best feature with its exceptional color, brightness, contrast, crispness, and smoothness, the touchpad is also great thanks to its size, and the keyboard has an enjoyable, poppy and tactile feel. The only reason to hesitate is that 8GB of memory could slow down power users who rely on many applications and windows all running at once and need to be able to quickly switch between them. As the memory is non-upgradable, there’s no simple way past this limitation. If you’re looking for something that fits a similar role but can come with more memory, the HP Pavilion Aero 13z can come configured with more in a similar price range while swapping an OLED display for a 400-nit, anti-glare IPS display. The Dell Inspiron 16 5000 can also provide a sub-$1000 option with a bigger screen and slightly increase weight.

Asus ZenBook 14 (UX3402) review
Source: Tech Advisor English
The Asus ZenBook 14 (UX3402) is a fantastic-looking laptop with a dazzling display, offering good performance for everyday computing tasks. Anyone after a high-quality Windows 11 workhorse will be more than pleased with a ZenBook 14 from the 2022 range. The high degree of colour accuracy means that this is an excellent choice for photography students, or anyone who wants to edit photos, although the lack of a dedicated graphics processor means it’s not as well-suited to video editing as other laptops. Likewise, if you treat the Asus ZenBook 14 as a gaming machine, you will be disappointed – but that’s not what it’s designed for. Solid connectivity, lightweight design, the latest Intel chips, a mostly reliable keyboard and a large trackpad make it a good choice. Just don’t buy it for the calculator hidden in the trackpad.

Intel Iris Xe G7 80EUs: Integrated graphics card in Intel Tiger Lake G7 SoCs based on the new Gen. 12 architecture with 80 EUs (Execution Units / Shader Cluster). The clock rate depends on the processor model. The Tiger Lake chips are produced in the modern 10nm+ process at Intel.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.

The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
