Qualcomm SD X2 Plus X2P-42-100

The Snapdragon X2 Plus 6-Core X2P-42-100 is a relatively affordable processor (or SoC) with ARM architecture for use in Windows laptops, which was presented at CES in January 2026. The X2P-42-100 has 6 Oryon CPU cores (all prime cores) of the 3rd generation (6 threads), which operate at a clock frequency of up to 4 GHz. Qualcomm states that the X2P-42-100 offers 35% better single-core performance, 10% better multi-core performance, 39% better iGPU performance and 78% better NPU performance compared to its predecessor, the X1P-42-100 (8-core). The SoC is manufactured with a mixture of the modern N3X and N3P processes at TSMC (3nm). The TDP can be selected between 10-22 watts according to Qualcomm.
