Intel Core 5 320

Intel Core 5 320

The Intel Core 5 320 is a small SoC from the Wildcat Lake family. It uses 6 CPU cores in two clusters. Two fast performance cores from the Cougar Cove series clock at 1.5 to 4.6 GHz. In addition, the chip contains four low power E-cores (Darkmont architecture) with 1.4 to 3.4 GHz. This makes Wildcat Lake similar to the faster Panther Lake chips. In contrast to the identical Core 5 330, the Core 5 320 does not support the Intel Stable IT Platform Program (SIPP) validation program.

Due to the 200 MHz lower clock frequency of the CPU cores, the performance should be a maximum of 5% below the top models such as the Intel Core 7 360 at most. According to Intel, the Core 5 330 should therefore also above the older Core 7 150U as well. According to initial benchmarks in Geekbench, the Core 5 320 is just below a typical Core 7 150U in our tests. The Core 5 330 should offer the same performance.

The Core 5 320 supports up to 64 GB DDR5-6400 and has a small Intel Graphics iGPU with 32 EUs. The integrated NPU offers 16 TOPs (Int8).

The TDP is 15W - 35W (Base - Turbo), making the SoC suitable for small laptops and small embedded systems. The CPU chip of the SoC is manufactured by Intel using the modern 18A process.
