Intel Core 3 305

The Intel Core 3 305 is a small SoC from the Wildcat Lake family. It uses 6 CPU cores in two clusters. Two fast performance cores from the Cougar Cove series clock at 1.5 to 4.3 GHz. In addition, the chip contains four low power E-cores (Darkmont architecture) with 1.4 to 3.3 GHz. This makes Wildcat Lake similar to the faster Panther Lake chips.
The Core 3 304 supports up to 64 GB DDR5-6400 and has a small Intel Graphics iGPU with 16 EUs. In contrast to the weaker Core 3 304 the 305 does not offer an NPU.
First leaked Geekbench tests (of the Core 3 304 with only 5 cores) show a performance in the lower range of current notebook processors. The Intel N processors of the Twin Lake series (e.g. Core 3 N350) can be significantly outperformed.
The TDP is 15 W - 35 W (base - turbo), making the SoC suitable for small laptops and small embedded systems. The CPU chip of the SoC is manufactured by Intel using its modern 18A process.
