
AMD Ryzen Z2 A

The AMD Ryzen Z2 A is a mobile processor for notebooks based on the Renoir generation. The SoC contains four Zen 2 cores (quad-core CPU) which are clocked at 2.8 GHz (guaranteed base clock) up to 3.8 GHz (turbo) and support SMT / hyperthreading (8 threads). The chip is manufactured in the 6nm FinFET process at TSMC and was presented at the beginning of the middle of the year for the Asus ROG Xbox Ally handheld. The RDNA 2 GPU is simply called Radeon Graphics and offers 8 CUs. In terms of performance, it lies between the Radeon 680M and Radeon 660M.
The TDP is specified at 15 watts (5-20 watts).
