The Redmi Note 8 Pro just received its November security update and it's been closely followed by the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 9, with the European variants of both phones now getting the update. Android 11, however, remains a distant concept for the Redmi Note 8 in particular.

NVIDIA looked to Samsung rather than TSMC for the production of its RTX 30 series GPUs. The decision to go with Samsung has caused issues though, not least poor yields on its 8 nm process. Nonetheless, NVIDIA will continue to use Samsung for its RTX 30 SUPER GPUs, according to a new report. The RTX 30 SUPER series is due next year.

Laptop batteries associated with the POCO branding have been spotted on Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) documents that could indicate the former Xiaomi subsidiary is planning on releasing a POCO laptop, possibly even a POCOBook. The POCO M3 smartphone was the most recent device launched by the now independent company.

The first official benchmark results are in for the Snapdragon 888, and they show a healthy uplift from the performance of the Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 865+. Samsung has finally announced the arrival of the Exynos 2100, and it is just two days before the expected launch of the Galaxy S21 series. The Exynos 2100 is believed to feature eight cores built on a 5 nm process, with an ARM Cortex-X1 core the most powerful of the eight. The Exynos 2100 will go head-to-head with the Snapdragon 888 when the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra arrive next month.

A schematic of the Mi 11 Pro has leaked online. The schematic suggests that Xiaomi has equipped its next flagship smartphone with a 6.76-inch display, which is expected to run natively at a QHD+ resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
