War Thunder 2.3 "Hot Tracks" update now live with Italian helicopters, various new tanks, ships, and planes, as well as graphical improvements
This month's major update for War Thunder came out of the blue once again, but the fact that there weren't many developer blog updates doesn't make "Hot Tracks" less important. Labeled 2.3, the update has more than 5 GB in size and includes quite a few new pieces of military hardware, as well as visual improvements.
Before mentioning any new tanks or planes, we should highlight the physically accurate vehicle tracks, which come alongside updated visual effects for all ground and naval vehicle gunfire to bring a new bump to the level of realism delivered by this game. The list of new vehicles includes mostly high-tier hardware, such as the A-7D Corsair II and Buccaneer S.2 jets, the ZSU-37-2 and ASRAD-R antiaircraft systems, three new Italian helicopters that come as regular vehicles, and more.
Since the Winter Holiday season is almost here, the Festive hangar has been enabled and the Operation W.I.N.T.E.R. event is also in full swing already. These being said, I'll leave you to enjoy some in-game screenshots, the official launch trailer, and maybe to share some thoughts in the comments section as well.
