War Thunder 1.83 "Masters of the Sea" takes naval battles into Open Beta

The new update, dubbed "Masters of the Sea" and carrying the version number 1.83, shows without any trace of doubt that War Thunder is moving rather quickly in the right direction. Although there are still many issues that Gaijin Entertainment needs to iron out, but the game's expansion in all areas definitely looks great. After all, it slowly started with planes a few years ago, and now there are also ground vehicles, naval forces, and even helicopters.

War Thunder 1.83 "Masters of the Sea" comes after last month's major update — 1.81 "The Walkyries" — which introduced helicopters belonging to the Soviets and the US (in a Closed Beta stage). Now, the German forces also get helicopters, but the main element of this update is the introduction — although in a Closed Beta stage — of the British Royal Navy tree.

In addition to the above, there are also a few new ground vehicles and planes — for example the Type 75 MLRS premium Japanese tank destroyer and the Ju 288 C premium bomber. However, there is also an ERA addon for the T-80B main battle tank that comes to improve this vehicle's existing set of upgrades, and it doesn't stop here.
