Welcome to 2017. Dynabook delivers with the Satellite Pro a 15.6-inch business notebook, which is technically not up to date: Inside the computer is a Kaby Lake processor and a SATA SSD. At least the battery life turns out well.

100 % sRGB. Samsung's 15.6-inch convertible offers a compact case, very good battery life, and a very bright display with a brightness of up to 600 nits. Its touchscreen display (QLED, IPS, FHD) does not only support finger but also stylus input using the included S Pen.

Save your money. Are you happy with just 4 GB of soldered RAM and 64 GB of storage? If so, then the $550 USD Surface Laptop Go might be worthwhile. For everyone else, look elsewhere and don't turn back.

With i7 and MX350 against AMD Ryzen. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 is available in a 14-inch version with both AMD and Intel processors. In this test, we want to find out whether the Intel model with the dedicated GPU from Nvidia is the better choice, or whether it's better to go for a Ryzen processor.

M.2 or SATA drive. By using an Intel Core i5 of the Comet Lake generation, Dell places the Latitude 15 5510 in the mid price range around 1,100 Euros (~$1,290). Business features, such as a smart card reader, are retained, and everything is already prepared for WWAN, which can be installed subsequently. Business mid-range. Dell's compact business-oriented 13.3-incher offers long battery life, a good keyboard (backlit), and a fast NVMe SSD. An LTE modem is optionally available.

Discrete gamer. Despite the hardware from the gaming entry-level segment, you don't have to worry about the performance. The Legion 5i brings all the current computer games smoothly to the matte screen (Full-HD, IPS). The highlight of the laptop is the outstanding battery life.

Tiny Comet. Zotac's ZBOX Nano Desktop gets a Comet Lake upgrade. While the new CPU brings a small bump in performance, stagnant graphics and stability issues will leave some users dissatisfied. The more powerful Tiger Lake CPUs or Ryzen APUs may better meet the needs of most consumers. However, those who want a desktop with a small footprint may find the ZBOX Nano a decent option for home and office use.

Intel comet kills ultrabook workstation. Different name, revised design. HP wants to make its ultrabook workstations of the ZBook Firefly series more attractive with this recipe. But as a result, the American manufacturer is slowed down by the chosen processor and graphics chip, because they're both outdated. Pity, since the ZBook Firefly 15 G7 is actually a good mobile workstation for light CAD tasks.

Passively cooled Celeron. The Jumper EZbook X3 Air is based on much more expensive models with its flat construction and slim design. The metal housing provides a high-quality and robust impression. The test will show what the hardware can achieve in a device for about 350 Euros (~$410).

99-Wh battery. The MSI Creator 15 is directed at creative users but might also be interesting for gamers. The RTX GPU plus two RAID SSDs provide sufficient speed and graphics performance for it. Let there be light. The Strix G17 doesn't lower its guard and displays all modern games smoothly on the matte screen (IPS, Full HD, 144 Hz). The individually configurable LED bar on the bottom brings color into play. The laptop offers space for up to three M.2 SSDs.

Turbo Boost. The Predator Helios 300 can run all current games smoothly. It features a 17.3-inch 144-Hz Full HD screen. Users can install up to three storage devices in the Acer laptop.

With potential for upgrades. With the Aorus 5 KB, Gigabyte has gone with a barebone case from Clevo. This has some advantages like a replaceable battery and very good maintenance options. In our review we'll clarify how well this ultimately works with the hardware installed and the performance that can be expected.

One-trick pony. When it was first announced the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus caused a bit of a sensation. After all, laptops equipped with e-ink displays are certainly unique and special. We were thus very keen to find out how useful this feature really was. Too bad the rest of the Lenovo laptop behind the e-ink display wasn't anything to write home about.
