HP Spectre x360 14: Stylus, great keyboard, 3:2 OLED screen
Review of the HP Spectre x360 14: High-resolution OLED display, poor battery life
The HP Spectre x360 14 is a 2-in-1 device which features a Tiger Lake CPU, two Thunderbolt 4 ports and a 13.5-inch OLED touchscreen with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The touchscreen can recognise inputs from the included HP Tilt Pen and fingers.

The housing of the Spectre x360 14 is made of metal. The design and the colour scheme are quite unique. The slim sides of the chassis have a gold colour. The top and the bottom of the chassis as well as the screen lid have a dark blue colour (Poseidon Blue). The sides are wedge-shaped and the rear edges are chamfered.
One of the two Thunderbolt 4 ports (USB-C, Power Delivery, DisplayPort) is located in the rear right chamfered edge. The two Thunderbolt 4 ports can be used to charge the device or output a video signal. Moreover, users can also connect docking stations and external GPUs via these ports. The Spectre x360 14 can also be charged via HP’s proprietary charging port with the included power adapter.
The OLED touchscreen (3000x2000) offers a great contrast ratio, good brightness, great viewing angles, excellent colour space coverage (sRGB: 100%), and fast response times. The main drawback of the OLED display is the low-frequency flickering. The touchscreen can recognise inputs from the included HP Tilt Pen MPP 2.0 and fingers. The great keyboard is also worth mentioning.

I am a big fan of technology, which is why I try to keep up with it. Among my other passions are literature and writing, and so it should not be surprising to anyone at all that I have a four-year bachelor's degree in philology. However, my interests are not limited just to the world of technology, or, for that matter, the world of literature. I am also interested in people and the stories they have to tell. And more recently, I took an interest in artificial intelligence.
