Bleujour Kubb: Updated mini-PC released with Intel Tiger Lake processors, Iris Xe graphics and Thunderbolt 4 support
French manufacturer Bleujour has updated the Kubb, one of its compact mini-PCs. The company now offers the Kubb with three Intel Tiger Lake processors: the Core i3-1115G4, Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7. While the Core i3-1115G4 makes do Intel UHD Graphics Xe G4, the Core i5-1135G7 and Core i7-1165G7 feature the more powerful Iris Xe Graphics architecture.
It is worth noting that the pair feature different integrated GPUs, though. On the one hand, the Core i5-1135G7 has the Iris Xe Graphics G7 with 80 Execution Units (EUs). On the other hand, Intel has equipped the Core i7-1165G7 with a 96 EU part, which performs over 20% better than the 80 EU equivalent does. You can read more about the differences between these two GPUs here.
The Kubb can also be equipped with up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 2 TB M.2 PCIe Gen4 SSD and a second storage option that includes two 256 GB M.2 SSDs running RAID 1.
All configurations measure 120 x 120 x 120 mm and weigh 1.1 kg, primarily on account of their aluminium and stainless steel cases. The Kubb has plenty of ports too, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports. The Kubb starts at €640 with Linux Mint installed, although a fully-configured model runs to €2,192.95, including taxes. Currently, Bleujour sells the Kubb in numerous colours, as outlined on its product page.
