The Boxer-8253AI is a powerful mini-PC, albeit one that AAEON probably does not intend people to use at home. AAEON has equipped the Boxer-8253AI with the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX, a single-board computer that has a hexa-core ARM CPU, 384 CUDA cores and 48 tensor cores.
AAEON's mini-PC provides access to all the Xavier NX's ports, which include HDMI inputs and outputs, multiple USB ports and dual Power over Ethernet (PoE) connections. Additionally, the system has an Ethernet port, an M.2 2230 slot and a 2.5-inch drive bay for adding an HDD or SSD. However, the Boxer-8253AI comes with 16 GB of eMMC flash storage, as well as 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Similarly, there is a microSD card reader should you wish to use one.
The Boxer-8253AI retails for US$1,266.00 and weighs 1.3 kg. The 180 x 136 x 61.1 mm runs silently and can operate in temperatures from -15 °C to 55 °C.
