Morefine S500+ mini-PC is now orderable with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX for US$669
Morefine has brought its S500+ mini-PC to Indiegogo, having teased the machine last month. While the mini-PC market is fairly saturated, the Morefine S500+ offers Ryzen 5000 series APUs, a rarity for the time being. The machine is available with U- and H-series APUs, along with up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
Specifically, the S500+ starts with a Ryzen 3 5300U at US$499, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. Paying US$100 more gets you the Ryzen 5 5500U with the same memory configuration, while the Ryzen 7 5700U edition costs US$729 with 16 GB of RAM and the same SSD.
However, Morefine also offers the S500+ as a barebones kit with a Ryzen 9 5900HX for just US$669. Adding 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD brings that price up to US$829, should you not wish to source SODIMM RAM and an SSD yourself. Alternatively, Morefine sells the same APU with 32 GB of RAM and a 1 TB SSD for US$999.
All configurations come with a magnesium-aluminium chassis and a host of ports. As the photos above show, these include seven USB ports, two Ethernet connections, DisplayPort and HDMI. Every model comes with a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modem too, for reference.
Morefine hopes to start delivering all models from next month, having already exceeded its Indiegogo campaign goal. Please note that there are no guarantees that Morefine will deliver the S500+ on time, if at all, as is always the case with crowdfunding campaigns.
