The T.Book MN48H is a new mini-PC by T-Bao, which recently launched the MN45. As its name implies, the MN48H features a Ryzen 7 4800H, a 45 W APU from AMD's Zen 2 family. The Ryzen 7 4800H has 8 Renoir cores that can reach 4.2 GHz and a Radeon RX Vega 7 GPU that tops out at 1,600 MHz. The APU also supports Simultaneous multithreading (SMT), yielding 16 threads across its 8 cores.
Unsurprisingly, the MN48H cools its APU with a fan, rather than a passive heatsink. Correspondingly, T-Bao has included large vents on the top and sides for cooling. According to the company, the side vents act as intakes, with the circular cut-out acting as an exhaust vent. These vents will also aid in cooling the 16 GB of DDR4 RAM that T-Bao has installed, along with the 512 GB SSD. Both are replaceable, with the latter an M.2 2280 NVMe drive.
Additionally, the MN48H has seven USB ports, dedicated headphone and microphone jacks, Gigabit Ethernet and three video outputs. There is also a Bluetooth 5.1/Wi-Fi 6 modem on board, hence the large antennas. The MN48H comes with Windows 10 pre-installed, too.
Currently, T-Bao sells the T.Book MN48H for US$799.99 on Banggood. The machine may only be available in one configuration, but T-Bao offers it with EU, UK or US plugs.
