Kingdel has brought another mini-PC to market, and one that is only available with AMD Ryzen 5000 APUs. Currently, Kingdel offers the K15 with a range of modern APUs, starting with the Ryzen 3 5300U and peaking with the Ryzen 9 5900HX. The Ryzen 7 5700U and Ryzen 7 5800U are also orderable, although no APUs can be configured as barebones kits.
The K15 is not short of ports, either. As the images below show, Kingdel has included six USB Type-A connections, a USB Type-C port, dual Ethernet ports, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Meanwhile, full-sized DisplayPort and HDMI ports handle image output. Sadly, only two Type-A ports are USB 3.2 compliant; Kingdel restricts the other four to the slow USB 2.0 standard.
Thankfully, the K15 is upgradeable with slots for two SODIMM RAM modules, dual M.2 2280 SSDs and an M.2 2230 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module. Kingdel has included a 2.5-inch bay too, should you prefer to use SATA drives.
The Kingdel K15 is available to order on AliExpress. The machine starts at US$476.05 with a Ryzen 3 5300U, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1 TB SSD. By contrast, Ryzen 7 SKUs cost at least US$609.16, with the Ryzen 9 5900HX option weighing in at US$775.38. The RAM and storage is replaceable though, as is the M.2 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module. Kingdel will begin shipping orders at the end of November.
