T.Book MN45: AMD Ryzen 5 4500U-powered mini-PC launches with upgradeable RAM and storage
The T.Book MN45 is a mini-PC produced by T-Bao, a manufactured based in China. The 13.3 x 13.3 x 5 cm machine may be tiny, but T-Bao has still managed to fit an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U APU inside, a Zen 2 chip that can reach 4 GHz across its six cores and six threads.
T-Bao has complemented the 15 W APU with 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB M.2 NVMe SSD, both of which are replaceable. Additionally, a 2.5-inch drive can be added, should you need cheaper or more storage. T-Bao has equipped the MN45 with a plethora of ports, including dual USB Type-C, HDMI, DisplayPort and dual Gigabit Ethernet connections. The MN45 also has USB Type-A ports and an M.2 2230 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module.
Unsurprisingly, the MN45 does not have a dedicated GPU. Instead, the machine relies on the Radeon RX Vega 6 graphics found in the Ryzen 5 4500U, which is no slouch. According to our database, the Radeon RX Vega 6 offers 81% of the performance that the NVIDIA GeForce MX250 does and is powerful enough to handle some light gaming.
The T.Book MN45 is available to order on Banggood for US$599.99. T-Bao will start shipping its new mini-PC later this month with a choice between EU, UK and US plugs.
